Network

The launch of Barbora NG is planned for August 2026.
In the meantime, the first computational resources have already been allocated in the latest Open Access Grant Competition.

All of the compute and login nodes of BarboraNG are interconnected through an InfiniBand NDR200 Gbps network and a Gigabit Ethernet network.

Compute nodes and the service infrastructure is connected by the NDR 200/400/800G technology.

The computing network thus implemented fulfills the following parameters

• 200Gbps throughput
• Latencies less than 10 microseconds
• Adaptive routing support
• MPI communication support
• IP protocol support (IPoIB)
